The Quick Detaching (QD) mounting system is extremely rugged and reliable.  Most importantly, it ONLY allows the suppressor to be attached to the flash hider if done correctly. When fully on the flash hider, the gate at the rear of the suppressor is then swung into the radial grooves on the flash hider. The sleeve is then rotated to secure the suppressor to the flash hider. This can be done only if the gate is completely shut on the flash hider.  This is a truly safe and reliable mounting system. Our standard flash hider as supplied, is designed to work with an optional Blank Firing Attachment (BFA)
